Happy International Women's Day

Have you seen the Google Doodle today? Does March 8 mean anything to you? Growing up, I've always known from the radio and television (there was no Google back then) that it is the International Women's Day. It's not a holiday where I grew up and we never really celebrated this day per sa. It is, however, a day that people recognise.

I'm not the protestor type, although there's quite a bit to protest about this past week! Today, I'm going to enjoy a day with my mom... hair cut, lunch, shopping! And, maybe a cupcake later on!
