Fall boots 2015 and Tokyo
Happy 11/11!
A change of scenery, I'm writing from the 33rd floor in a hotel in Shibuya today. The view from up here is just spectacular. It's taken me almost 20 years to come back to Tokyo and until I arrived I had no idea how much I missed it. To me, it's really not the city itself that I missed, it's the people. My very special friends with whom I got to spend a very important part of my life. And now, 20 years later, we've all changed. We've grown older and wiser, we have real life responsibilities, we are parents. But we share the same memories from two decades ago when we were young, fearless, and adventurous. I'm so thankful that I get to spend some time with these friends who will always have a special place in my heart.
Thank you husband for making me come to Tokyo with you. We're already half way through our visit here and yes I'm nostalgic. I don't have much to say about Fall boots this time. Life is so much more.
Wait, maybe I do. Can't help it.
I walked around Shibuya yesterday and saw a Aigle store. I had to stop. Tried on these rain boots that are just perfect in every way. The heel height is great and the removable straps break up the bulkiness of a rain boot. The color I tried on was eggplant with pink stripe on top. Perfection!
More on Tokyo later but here's a little taste of it. :)
